PREMIUM FOR INSURANCE OF PRODUCTIVITY OF THE MOST SIGNIFICANT CULTURES FOR THE FINANCIAL RESULTS OFTHEPROAGRO

Abstract
The objective of this work is to give some information about the risks of the cultures of larger weight in the determination of the results of the PROAGRO, calculating, for that, the premiums for insurance of productivity ofthose cultures. The methodology used is based in the theory ofthedemandofinsurancesand,presupposinglackofprofitandworthless operational costs, as well as normal distribution for the productivity, allows to calculate the insurance premium to cover the risks of productivity of the cultures. The used data comes from the Statistical Annuals of Brazil, of FIBGE. Once obtained those prizes, it is tried to settle down a relationship among the value and the position that each culture has in the Program, in terms of their contribution for its financial results.
