UTILIÇÃO DO COMPUTADOR NA ADMINISTRAÇÃO RURAL: UM MODELO PARA UM SISTEMA DE INFORMAÇÕES

Resumo
A utilização potencial de microprocessadores no meio rural foi genericamente delimitada e os pontos críticos identificados. As expectativas para a próxima década foram apresentadas. Tomando-se como ponto de par- tida o denominado na literatura de Decision Support Systems (DSS), foi de- senvolvido um modelo para o fluxo de informações em uma empresa rural brasileira. O modelo apresentado compõe-se de seis centros de processamento de dados, ou seja, os setores de compras, vendas, contabilidade, finanças, pessoal e produção. Foi identificado o intercâmbio de informações entre os diversos setores e com o meio ambiente e os bancos de dados necessários. Foi constatada a necessidade de desenvolvimento de estudos mais detalhados sobre os sistemas de informações no meio rural.
